AVANZA 490 (490 SOUTH VAN NESS) — SAN FRANCISCO, CA

Avanza 490 at 490 South Van Ness is the ground-up construction of a seven-story, Type I mixed-use affordable housing development with 81 units across 80,624 square feet. Service spaces are on the ground floor and are available to residents and other community members. Additional amenities for residents include a community room, laundry rooms, bicycle parking, and a courtyard.

This 100% affordable housing development meets social and environmental sustainability goals for the City of San Francisco by delivering safe and stable homes to formerly homeless and low-income families designed and built with materials meant to contribute to the overall building’s efficiency.

The Type I concrete project was designed and built with sturdy, long-lasting materials and includes rooftop solar panels that will assist with targeting lower carbon use.

The Avanza 490 project is a joint venture between Nibbi and Guzman Construction Group.
