MIGUEL GUZMAN

PRESIDENT & CEO

Miguel Guzman serves as President and CEO of Guzman Construction Group and is responsible for the overall strategic direction and executive management of the company. Miguel is a 30-year veteran of the construction industry and has progressed through a wide range of roles, gaining deep insight into all facets of industry operations and project management.

Miguel is a graduate of UC Berkeley and holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering. He is a LEED accredited professional and participated in the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce Leadership Program. Miguel is also a member of SEAONC, SPUR and Cal Alumni Society.


RYAN PINE

DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS

Ryan Pine brings over 25 years of industry experience and is responsible for the executive oversight of all ongoing project operations at Guzman. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Arizona and a Master of Science in Construction Engineering Management from Stanford University.


TONY NELSON

DIRECTOR OF RISK & OPERATIONS

Tony Nelson is a seasoned construction industry professional with 30 years of experience, specializing in risk management and operations. His core duties involve identifying potential risks early in the project planning phase, developing comprehensive risk mitigation strategies, and ensuring that these strategies are effectively implemented during construction. His extensive project portfolio includes diverse developments such as affordable housing, public works, higher education facilities, and critical travel and infrastructure projects. Tony has a B.S. in Construction Management and is a graduate of Arizona State University.


HASAN DEMIRKOL

DIRECTOR OF PRECONSTRUCTION

Hasan Demirkol oversees all estimating, preconstruction, and value engineering efforts for Guzman Construction Group. His keen eye for detail and his strategic problem-solving abilities ensure that every project is executed with precision and efficiency, ultimately delivering safe, quality, and sustainable housing options to the community. Hasan has over a decade of industry experience and holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from San Jose State University.


RICHARD ARMSWORTHY

CHIEF ESTIMATOR

With over 35 years of experience in the construction industry, Richard Armsworthy brings unparalleled expertise in Northern and Southern California. His extensive background includes developing precise estimates and budgets for a diverse range of projects, from luxury mixed-use developments and federal projects to higher education and K-12 school facilities. Richard's comprehensive knowledge and meticulous approach have been instrumental in ensuring the financial success and feasibility of numerous high-profile projects, making him an invaluable asset to our team and clients. Richard Armsworthy holds a B.S., in Business Administration with a focus in Finance from Sacramento State University.


ALEX CAZARES

DIRECTOR OF FIELD OPERATIONS

Alex Cazares has a 25-year track record of success overseeing all phases of complex construction in the San Francisco Bay Area. In his role, Alex Cazares oversees all on-site field operations and provides technical management for construction operations; He is also responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of work, overseeing, maintaining, and ensuring an injury-free environment, with the project remaining on time and within budget.


ADAM RICH

DIRECTOR OF ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH & SAFETY

Adam Rich is a results-driven safety leader with a proven record of transforming safety cultures and achieving exceptional outcomes in high-risk construction. He has led initiatives reducing OSHA recordable incidents to a ten-year low and excels in developing safety strategies, ensuring compliance, and fostering proactive safety practices. With experience as a firefighter/paramedic, tradesperson, and safety professional, Adam creates effective programs that protect employees, clients, and the public.


TEDDY MINO

PRESIDENT OF BLACKROCK CONCRETE

Teddy Mino leads Guzman Construction Group’s self-performed concrete division, Blackrock Concrete where he is responsible for the strategic direction, preconstruction, and day-to-day operations. Teddy Mino has 17 years of construction management experience and has overseen some of Northern and Southern California's most complex Type I concrete structures from early design to completion. Teddy is OSHA 30 certified and has a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from California State University at Chico.


DAN AMIGONE

DIRECTOR OF HEALTHCARE & LIFE SCIENCES

Dan Amigone oversees Guzman’s Healthcare and Life Science projects.  He is a Bay Area industry veteran specializing in delivering complex projects for healthcare providers across the Bay Area. Dan is an expert in OSHPD delivery and understands the complexities surrounding planning and coordinating work within occupied hospitals, medical office buildings, and active campuses. He has 40 years of experience and holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Buffalo and a Master of Architecture from UC Berkeley.


DANIELLA JIMENEZ

DIRECTOR OF MARKETING

Daniella Jimenez is responsible for business development, brand strategy, communications, and the overall execution of creative marketing efforts for Guzman Construction Group.  Daniella has 15+ years of industry experience and has overseen the strategic direction of complex pursuits for both private developers and public government agencies.  As a native of San Francisco, she is actively involved with the City’s mission-focused organizations and supports Guzman’s clients and partners on all community engagement efforts.
